Zach Moran
Ph.D. student, EEES (Ecological, Earth, and Env. Sci)
Zach has a B.S. in Biology from Virginia Tech, where he was an active researcher in Prof. Don Orth's lab (leading to a first-authored publication on use of DNA barcodes for classifying diet of non-native Blue Catfish) and an M.S. in Fisheries & Wildlife from Arkansas Tech (where is further studied ecology of Blue Catfish). Zach joined the Aquatic Ecology lab in Fall 2019 as a PhD student in the TIEEES program to lead a study on population genetics and ecology of Longnose and Alligator Gar on the Brazos River.
